On behalf of the Hyland Hills Men’s Club, we want to extend our condolences to the family. Gene was a member of our club for many years and was enjoyed by many as he enjoyed his love for golf. Our very best wishes to all family and friends. Jim Parkin President, Hyland Hills Men’s Club

I was the Enrichment Coordinator at Arvada Estates where Gene once lived. I had the great pleasure of knowing a wonderful and warm person! I remember his smile, his laugh and mostly his jokes and singing talent! I have such fond memories! The talent shows he was in, him wearing blonde curls and crying while singing baby face! Many days of laughter and joking and just sitting down and talking and how he told everyone who came in they needed to move in because I was the best! No Gene…you were the best! Thoughts, prayers and much love to the family !!

  3. Maria Accola says:

He will be missed. I came to know Gene through the Boulder Friends of Jazz. He was a longtime member and was present often. I know he loved the music and getting on the dance floor with many willing partners. Gene was quiet and unassuming – he never complained and was always ready with a smile and lighthearted conversation. To his family, I extend deepest sympathy for you at Gene’s passing. It’s never easy but find consolation in the knowledge that there is peace for him – please find comfort in the knowing. Celebrate his life and cherish the memories. G. Johns
